Mosi-O-Tunya (the Smoke that Thunders) is the local name given to the Victoria Falls, which is one of the seven natural wonders of the world! It is found on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, and it is said that the noise of the falls can be heard 40 kilometres or 25 miles away.
Roughly 625 million litres of water flow over the edge per minute – which is a lot! This huge volume of water produces a spray that rises up to 400m into the air, which is taller than the tallest building in Europe!
